Skylight 2000 is the magazine of the Parkstone Camera Club compiled edited and published on line by our own in house editor and webmaster. Skylight 2000 is published periodically and collects together articles and pictures of interest to members by members, with examples of our winning shots, success in inter club competitions, and general club news.

Skylight 2000 editor Marie Stuart

Editions of Skylight 2000 will build from this page leaving older versions in place to create a valuable archive of the publications over the years.

Why have we called the new online version of our publication Skylight 2000? It is because it is a new generation of Skylight; the old generation of Skylights, were conceived in the last millennium. This is a new name for a new publication - an image booster. A new publication, a new home for the club and the cutting edge digital era in the club, all this deserves a new name!

Spring/Summer 2011 edition of Skylight now published. Click here or on the menu selection for your Skylight Spring/Summer 2011 club magazine digest.

Parkstone Camera Club Webmaster Dave Porter

Your Skylight 2000 editor: I’m always on the lookout for article contributions for the Skylight publication. Any ideas you have, get them down on paper, memory stick, CD or even email: have a chat for guidance on any ideas you might be pondering. Articles can be about photo techniques, holidays abroad, anything amusing, and are much the better with the inclusion of illustrative photos. I am always in need of a front cover photo and a long panorama style photo for the page banner, and others for a gallery page.

Our president Percy Williams will review the published articles in each issue, and a voucher for spending at Boots, M & S, Jessops or W H Smiths will be awarded for his choice of best article.

Give it a go, you never know you may be a lucky prize winner.

Good reading of Skylight 2000, your webmaster Dave.
